Aaron grew up in the Bay Area as a multi-sport athlete, eventually narrowing down his specialties to baseball and football. He later played baseball at Cal State East Bay, where he majored in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Training. After college he spent 7 years as a Certified Personal Trainer, eventually running his own successful training business. Additionally, Aaron holds his Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist certifications from NASM and is currently a USA Weightlifting Level 1 certified coach.
Aaron got back into volleyball in 2016 and fell in love with the sport. He started coaching in 2018 at the girls’ club level while also successfully implementing and overseeing their strength and conditioning program. He is currently the Assistant Varsity coach at De La Salle High School and has been with the program since 2019. In his free time, you can find Aaron refining his beach volleyball skills and competing in the CBVA, or spending time outdoors with his wife and their German Shepherd.
Aaron understands what it takes to compete as a collegiate athlete and looks to inspire confidence in his athletes’ physical and mental games.
