Kathryn grew up in the East Bay and started playing volleyball at the age of 14. She coached her first team while in high school and, after graduating from Long Beach State, returned to the Bay Area with an opportunity to resume coaching. Kathryn was a head coach for girls’ club teams for 5 years. She also spent 2 years at Northgate High School as the boys’ assistant Varsity coach, where they achieved a 2nd place NCS finish and earned an opportunity to compete in CIF playoffs. Kathryn has now been coaching at De La Salle High School since 2018 and currently serves as their head JV coach.
Kathryn loves pushing her knowledge of the game in order to provide the most beneficial experience for her athletes. She enjoys being able to pass along her love for the sport and strives to cultivate a competitive environment that emphasizes the importance of hard work, integrity, and dedication to growth, both on and off the court.
