Lexi Hammer – Head Coach

Ever since seeing my older cousin on the volleyball court in 5th grade, I wanted to be a part of the sport. I have been playing since 6th grade at the Martinez Junior High and through the Alhambra High School Volleyball program. I was recruited and played at Simpson College in Iowa. I was a coach for the local volleyball club in Indianola, Iowa, along with the head freshman and assistant varsity coach for Knoxville High School. I am now the head Varsity and Junior Varsity coach for Alhambra High School.
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education a minor in coaching and an endorsement in Health Education

2014-2016: Director of the Martinez Junior High after school volleyball program
2016-2018: Student Assistant volleyball coach at Simpson College, Iowa
2017-2018:Head coach for 15’s Indianola Volleyball Club team
2018-2019: Head freshman and assistant varsity coach at Knoxville High School
2020: Assistant Junior Varsity coach at Alhambra High School Covid-19 Season
2021- Present: Head Junior Varsity and Head Varsity coach at Alhambra High School
